While at VCU, Antonio relished in the world of design and immersed himself with an interest in furniture design.
Upon completion of his military service and graduating from VCU in 2003, Antonio moved to Northern VA and landed his first design job. The company Wood Wise Interiors, specialized in residential custom cabinetry and furniture design, and required all employees to perform sales, in addition to producing concepts. Exposure to the millwork side of the industry allowed Antonio to learn various techniques in millwork detail construction, which he still uses today.
In 2005, Antonio decided to further develop his experience by working for a firm more directly related to the interior design industry. Carlyn & Co. provided such an opportunity for him to learn hands-on design and effective space layout. It also allowed him to be more artistically expressive when incorporating hand renderings and CAD aided materials.
Antonio Branch joined Mancini•Duffy Architecture & Design in the Fall of 2006 as a designer, and brought various design related experiences. Antonio’s capabilities include programming, space planning, design development, custom furniture design & building, and construction documentation.
As a part of the Technical Team, he works on the technical aspect of design and is very skilled in detailing very specific design elements such as feature walls or interconnecting stairs. His experience on every aspect of interior design allows for a complete integration with the design team.
