Amy G. Moorefield is the Director of the Phillips Museum of Art at Franklin & Marshall College. After her undergraduate degree from VCU, she received a Master of Museum Studies from John Hopkins University. Between 2008 and 2013, Moorefield was director and chief curator of the Eleanor D. Wilson Museum at Hollins University and, most recently, served as deputy director of exhibitions at the Taubman Museum of Art. The Taubman has a permanent collection of more than 2,000 pieces and features prominent 19th- and 20th-century American art. It houses 11 galleries and mounts 15 to 20 shows each year. Both institutions are located in Roanoke, Virginia.
