Amy G. Moorefield is the Deputy Director of Exhibitions and Collections at the Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke, Virginia. She is responsible for the creative leadership of the exhibition and permanent collection program which includes ten galleries, atrium and outdoor mural and sculpture programs encompassing 65,000 square feet. Previously, she was the Director and Chief Curator of the Eleanor D. Wilson Museum at Hollins University. After her undergraduate degree from VCU, she received a Master of Museum Studies from John Hopkins University. During her twenty years in museum leadership, Moorefield has curated over 200 exhibitions, initiated national museum partnerships, and taught university museum studies courses.
