After graduating in 1990, Amy DeVoogd spent a decade working as a graphic designer and art director in advertising and marketing. In 2003, she went solo as an illustrator. Amy has taught illustration at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Continuing Education, and in 2012 she received her MFA in Illustration through the University of Hartford. Amy’s illustrations have appeared in a range of publications, including The New York Times, Out Magazine, The Progressive, and the Wall Street Journal. Additional clients include: 3M; American Express; Daffy’s; Janssen Therapeutics; Pearson Education; Pfizer; Weinstein Books; and USA Today. She is represented by Mendola Artists Representatives in New York City, and sells her work on line and in galleries in Los Angeles and Seattle.
