Mary Lennon

IMG_6402Mary Lennon is a Adjunct Professor and a second year MFA candidate in the Performance/Pedagogy program at VCU. She has her Masters of Arts in Theatre Education from Emerson College, and her BA in Theatre and Communications from Susquehanna University. Mary has worked in the education department at the Huntington Theatre and the North Shore Music Theatre as well as directing and stage managing at Allen’s Lane Theatre in Philadelphia, and directing two plays in the  After Orlando project at the Richmond Triangle Players in December. Mary was also the head of the theatre department, teacher and director of productions at Urbana High School where she oversaw the direction of over 25 plays and musicals working with casts and crews with over 100 students. IMG_5328

Mary will be teaching a devised children’s theatre class in the fall of 2017, and that production will be touring elementary schools in Richmond.
