Tasmeem Doha 2017

Andrew Keen, Carlo Ratti, Hasan Elahi, Tina Kukielski, Anouk Wipprecht, Sophia Al-Maria, The Foundland Collective, Tintype Photography, Pixel Art, The Constitute/Goethe Institute, Nick van der Kolk, and MoB+Storefront among the speakers, exhibitions, demonstrations, and workshops at Tasmeem Doha 2017.

A collaboration between Virginia Commonwealth School of the Arts in Qatar and VCU School of the Arts, Tasmeem Doha 2017: “Analogue Living in a Digital World,” takes place on March 15 and 16 in Doha, Qatar. Tasmeem is VCUarts’ biennial international art and design conference.

In Richmond, Middle of Broad (MoB), the community engaged design arm of VCUarts, will be creating a viewing portal called a majlis (literally a sitting place) at The Depot, 814. W. Broad Street. Everyone is invited to share in the experience of place-making and collaboration in this environment.
