Studio Two Three Opportunities!
Published on December 16, 2015
VCUarts is proud to say that Ashley Hawkins, Director of Studio Two Three is an alumna of VCUarts. She clearly calls Richmond home and her work through this nonprofit is making a mark on the rough and tumble arts community. I’m excited to be partnering with her on some upcoming projects, but for now I’m happy to share this below.
TEACH. LEARN. ENGAGE.
VCUarts and Studio Two Three join forces! As Richmond’s only community print shop, we aim to keep our creative community robust and evolving for the current generation and the next. As VCUarts students, you play an essential role in helping us pursue our goal! We are so excited about the resources and community we have to offer. Stop by for a visit over winter break or get involved as a teacher, student, volunteer, or resident!
Interested in TEACHING a class for us? We pay $30/HOUR! We are now taking submissions for the Summer 2016 season—deadline is March 1. Submit the following to Megan, our Program Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org and she will get back to you to schedule an interview:
- Class Title
- Approximate materials cost
- Description of what will happen during the class (What will students be doing and learning, and how will you deliver instruction? What will students take away from the class in terms of products and instructions?)
- A short summary of your teaching philosophy (one paragraph)
- A short one paragraph bio about yourself
Our class schedule for Late Winter/Spring will be available in early December—be sure to look for flyers and view it online at printrva.org/classes!
