Scholarship Fair at Tidewater Community College: 09/26-27
Published on September 17, 2015
I post about Scholarship Sharing quite a bit, and I’m glad they’re still hard at work! Information on their annual fair is below. I hope some of you can make it and things work out in your favor!
Scholarship Sharing will be hosting our Third Annual Scholarship Fair for students at Tidewater Community College in Chesapeake VA on September 26 & 27.
This event will highlight scholarships from over 60 nonprofits and 12 universities. Students will network at each table to learn about each organization’s programs. One of the foundations will be holding on site interviews for a $500 scholarship exclusively for students who attend the fair on camera.
During this event we will also have powerpoint presentations on scholarship aid resources in English and Spanish.
Also, an entire section of this event is dedicated for students of military families. Active Duty, Reservists, and Retired Service members will have scholarship opportunities as well as their spouses, children and grandchildren.
There is a scholarship for every type of students. This event will help first generation students, adult learners interested in going back to college, and everything in between.
This event will be open to High School Freshman – High School Seniors, as well as current undergraduates and graduate students already enrolled in college. This event is open to students from throughout Virginia and DC, and parents and teachers are also encouraged to participate.
Admission to the event is Free.
Attendees should pre-register to avoid lines on the day of the event: 2015scholarshipfair.eventbrite.com
We cannot stress how important it is that students pre-register to avoid having to wait in line at the entrance. There will be over 3000 students at this event because it’s a free event on scholarships. As you can imagine, it is very popular!
