VCU Music Classes for Non-majors

Calling all music lovers!  You don’t have to be a Music major or minor to join an ensemble, take a class, or see a concert.

Below is a list of classes and ensembles open to all students. Please note: classes marked with an asterisk require an audition or the permission of the instructor to enroll.

APPL 200 lessons (Interested students must be able to read music and have had previous experience/lessons on the instrument. Voice and strings require audition.)

The Department of Music offers more than 200 concerts each year, ranging from
