Student Art Wanted: The Intercultural Festival at VCU

The Intercultural Festival at VCU is looking for student artists and photographers to submit work for the 2011 VCU Intercultural Festival Art Exhibition! The Art Exhibition will take place on Saturday April 14th, 2012. 

Artists are encouraged to submit work based on themes that express aspects of any specific culture. Deadlines and requirements for artwork are described below:

Application, Artwork, and Additional Information
Friday March 30th, 2012 – Applications due in the University Student Commons Office of Multicultural Student Affairs by 5:00pm.
Friday April 6th, 2012 – Artwork due in the University Student Commons Office of Multicultural Student Affairs at 5:00pm.
You may submit up to 5 pieces total using a cultural theme.
Only 2-D work will be accepted; all art must be able to be hung.
An Art Exhibition Submission Form must be attached to each piece of work.

Winners on Festival Day: April 9th, 2011 at Monroe Park
All artwork be judged during its display in the in Monroe Park during the Intercultural Festival, which will take place on Saturday April 14th, 2012. 
VCU student winners will be recognized at the end of the Festival at Monroe Park. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive a trophy at the festival. The 1st place winner will also receive a gift basket full of art miscellaneous supplies.
