Closing Thoughts

Did we throw a lot at you?

Don’t worry, even folks who do this full time (yes, I’m talking about me) use tools and tricks to keep organized on social media. To manage VCUarts channels, we use Buffer (an app that can be loaded with tweets and push out automatically based on your needs) and Bit.ly (a URL shorten that tracks how many people have clicked it) to keep us straight. There are other tools out there (Trello, HootSuiteOw.ly, TweetDeck…), but these are our favorites.

Don’t know the difference between a Facebook Page and a Facebook Group? Are you deciding how often you need to post? As we mention throughout this document, be sure to ask us for help! If you have questions, if you need a more thorough explanation or if you just want to talk social with us, give us a shout.
