Kristen Hileman

Kristen Hileman is the Assistant Curator at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.  During 2004, she organized summer and fall rotations of modern and contemporary works from the museum’s permanent collection for the on-going program Gyroscope.  Hileman was an adjunct professor at George Washington University during the academic year 2004-2005, teaching a graduate seminar in contemporary art.  She has previously taught art theory and a course on art and politics at the Corcoran College of Art & Design.  Before coming to the Hirshhorn, she served as the curator of the Arlington Arts Center, where she organized exhibitions of work by artists from the Mid-Atlantic region. (from www.vsarts.org)
