Beth Campbell is a New York artist originally from Illinois. Campbell explores the psychological and phenomenological perception of one encounter with the world through sculpture, installation, drawing, and video. She has recently completed solo projects with the Whitney Museum of American Art (2007), Manifesta 7 (2008), and the Public Art Fund (2007). Other museum exhibitions include the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Carnegie Museum of Art, PS1 Contemporary Art Center, the Warhol Museum, OK Center for Contemporary Art, Austria, the Tang Museum along with group exhibitions at Andrea Rosen Gallery, White Columns and the Drawing Room, London. Recent solo exhibitions include Country Club Los Angeles at the Buck House (2009); James Harris Gallery, Seattle (2009); and Nicole Klagsbrun Gallery, New York (2008). Her work is included in collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
