Taking place in the Anderson and the 1st Floor Gallery of the Fine Arts Building (FAB):

Anderson : 907 1/2 W. Franklin St.
Hours: Tuesday – Friday 12-7 PM & Saturday – Sunday 12-5 PM

FAB Gallery : 1000 W. Broad St. First Floor
Hours: Monday – Friday 8 AM – 6 PM (must have access card for evening and weekend entry)

For the rest of October, the VCU Sculpture Grads creating an evolving and fluctuating space, a living exhibition / activation of the Anderson and the FAB Gallery. The FAB Gallery will host a series of residencies by local community based organizations, giving over the space to these groups to use the space in any way they choose. The Anderson will be activated inside several galleries and outside in the front courtyard. Outside is a flexible multi-purpose space becoming home to a pop-up library, performance nights, “Practice + Process” mini series, workshops, and more. Inside the Anderson several first floor galleries and a third floor gallery will hold group and solo exhibitions, performances, and events.

Oct 10 – 27 @ Anderson (first floor) : Puerto Rico Relief Donation Drop-Off Site

Oct 12 – 15 @ FAB Gallery (first floor) : Organization-in-Residence – PLUMAS (Political Latinx United for Movement and Action in Society) curates “Latinx Art Show” featuring local latinx artists

Oct 13 @ Anderson 6-8 PM : Opening Night of Snakes and Ladders featuring Carnival Games (Gallery A) and work by Raul deLara (Gallery B) and music and conversation in the outdoor space

Oct 14 @ Anderson Outdoor Space 2-4 PM : Practice and Process series featuring Genderfail and Brett Suemnicht – open library hours

Oct 14 @ FAB Gallery 6-8 PM : PLUMAS curates : live stream of Virginia LAN’s Reproduction 101

Oct 15 @ FAB Gallery 7 PM : Organization-in-Residence – Virginia Student Environmental Coalition (VSEC) hosts a screening and discussion of documentary film Troubled Water
