Dabney and Joseph Cortina Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time degree-seeking student in the School of the Arts the semester the student applies, and the semester(s) the award is distributed. Undergraduate current juniors and seniors are eligible. Recipients will be selected based on financial need and merit. If a student wishes to be considered for this award, he/she must meet all listed eligibility criterion and submit an application, to include a letter of recommendation, by the student deadline.

    First generation college student means (A) an individual both of whose parents did not complete a baccalaureate degree; or (B) in the case of any individual who regularly resided with and received support from only one parent, an individual whose only such parent did not complete a baccalaureate degree.
