Sculpture + Extended Media BFA

US News & World Report ranks VCUarts Sculpture #1 in the nation for its graduate program, and our sophomores, juniors and seniors learn from the same highly regarded faculty as graduate students.

Undergraduate students appreciate their semi-private studio space from day one, as well as state-of-the-art facilities that impress the cynical.

The “Extended Media” in our name acknowledges the many techniques that the department embraces, such as video, performance, sound, installation, robotics, 3D digital modeling, and more.

Department of Sculpture + Extended Media, BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts)
To be considered for entry in the Sculpture + Extended Media major as a sophomore, all applicants must complete the freshman year Art Foundation Program. Submit a visual portfolio, recommendation form, and completed VCU application.
