Department of Art Education

The Department prepares graduates for teaching art in schools, communities, and museums. Once you graduate from the program, you'll be eligible for teacher licensure in pre-kindergarten through grade 12.

Department of Communication Arts

The Department teaches character design, concept art, and creature design for films and games. Students may take courses in illustration, graphic novels, scientific illustration, digital drawing, concept drawing, comics, and storyboarding.

Department of Dance + Choreography

Students experience an equal focus in performance and choreography, in modern and contemporary dance along with ballet.

Department of Fashion Design + Merchandising

The Department offers learning tracks in both fashion design and merchandising with courses in fashion concept development, garment construction, patternmaking, fashion forecasting, product development, fashion media, and retail management.

Department of Graphic Design

Students will learn about publication and print design, sequential and motion design, and interaction design.

Department of Interior Design

The Department teaches students to create conceptually-driven three-dimensional interior spaces that include human factors, building codes, materials, construction methods and documentation, design theory and business procedures.

Department of Kinetic Imaging

Students in Kinetic Imaging create video art, animation, sound design, emerging media, video production 2D animation, 3D modeling, sound recording, motion graphics, virtual reality and programming.

Department of Sculpture + Extended Media

The Department teaches traditional sculpture techniques, video, performance, sound, installation, robotics, and 3D digital modeling.

Cinema Program

Students create narrative films in a collaborative environment using professional equipment while preparing for employment in the professional movie-making industry.

Center for the Creative Economy

The Center promotes the creative economy as a post-disciplinary, collaborative force that disrupts the status quo in order to drive innovation and new business models around the world.

da Vinci Center

The da Vinci Center is a unique collegiate model that advances innovation and entrepreneurship through cross-disciplinary collaboration.
