Alumni and Students win VMFA Fellowship Grants

Photography and Film Undergraduate, Graduate and Alumni students win fellowships from the VMFA.

Congratulations to the following VCU students and alumni of the Photo/Film department, recipients of the annual Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Fellowship grants:

  • Melanie Kobran (Photography), Graduate
  • Rob Walker (Film), Undergraduate
  • William Connally (Photography Alumni),┬áProfessional

The VMFA Visual Arts Fellowship is awarded annually to students and artists in the area that demonstrate exceptional work, and receive between $4000 and $8000 in funding through the VMFA Art and Education Division, as well as the Pratt endowment, also supplemented by annual gifts from the Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation and the J. Warwick McClintic Jr. Scholarship Fund.
