Congratulations to the four VCU alumni and undergraduates recognized by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts as winners of the 2012 to 2013 Visual Arts Fellowship.
Winners this year spanned the alumni, undergraduate programs, and faculty departments; including Richard Robinson, Dana Ollestad, Elizabeth Crawford and Gabriel Kendra.
The VMFA Visual Arts Fellowship is awarded annually to students and artists in the area that demonstrate exceptional work and receive between $4000 and $8000 in funding through the VMFA Art and Education Division, as well as the Pratt endowment, also supplemented by annual gifts from the Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation and the J. Warwick McClintic Jr. Scholarship Fund.
