The Department of Interior Design offers a variety of scholarships that are available to interior design majors. These monetary awards recognize students for the quality of their work, GPA, and financial need. The individual awards vary from $1000 – $2000.

As well, VCU and the School of the Arts offer many opportunities for scholarships. Primary scholarships that apply only to Interior Design students:

Hamilton-Field Interior Design Scholarship: Recognizes outstanding achievement by a rising junior or senior.

Robert F. Hester Scholarship: Recognizes a full-time senior(s) with outstanding GPA.

Roger Baugh Interior Design Scholarship: Recognizes a financially needy full-time junior or senior student.

Notable VCUarts scholarships:

VCUarts Dean’s Scholarship: Recognizes full-time deserving rising junior or senior students.

VCUarts International Study Grants: Recognizes a full-time rising junior or senior student. Awarded competitively for international study during the summer.
