Lap Le comes to Richmond from Portland, OR, by way of Brooklyn, by way of the suburbs of Detroit. He is a designer, writer, and artist whose work deals with romantic notions of the future, the psychology of role-playing, and the cultural structures or contexts that inform these. He is two years into finishing one of two science fiction novels and often wonders why these should exist.
He is the co-founder and editor of WOW HUH, an online arts and culture quarterly which promotes and platforms emerging arts writers. Prior to this, he has worked for Nickelodeon and Syfy. He received his BFA from Oregon State University and his MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art.
