Tracy Ma is a Hong Kong-born Canadian graphic designer. She is currently the creative director of Matter Studios, a multi-platform content studio and intellectual-property incubator. Prior to Matter, Ma was the deputy creative director of Bloomberg Business week where she worked with Richard Turley to build a bold and often cheeky unexpected visual language. She grew up in Toronto after moving there in 1996. In 2010 she graduated magna cum laude from York University with a Bachelor of Design Honors.…

Michael E. Smith (b. 1977) studied at Yale University. He now lives and works in Providence, RI and has exhibited at Michael Benevento (LA), Andrew Kreps (NYC), Lumber Room (Portland) and KOW (Berlin). ... Smith’s exhibitions are silenced. Through modest gestures or interventions he forces spaces into emotional and symbolical tension. He improvises his scarce installations out of objects, both found and made, frequently right at the spot. These minimalist settings exist next to his sculptures, paintings, works on paper, and videos. …
