Fashion alumna Ra Jang was selected as an Emerging Designer Semifinalist by a panel of judges for Charleston Fashion Week. Ms. Jang will debut her Fall 2012 collection at CFW Emerging Designer Competition: East. The five-night fête will be held March 20-24, 2012 Charleston, SC.

As a VCUarts senior, Ra was a US winner and 2009 IFTF finalist at REMIX International Student Design competition. She was flown to Milan to showcase her innovative design at Milan Fur Fashion Fair (MiFUR) and at the REMIX competition and runway presentation. Since moving to New York in 2009, Ra has worked on designer and contemporary labels for a moderate market.
