VCUarts American Academy in Rome Affiliated Fellowship Program

VCU’s American Academy in Rome Affiliated Fellowships Program provides research reassignment for faculty whose research interests may benefit from concentrated work in association with Fellows of the Academy in the Italian capital. This award covers travel costs as well as residency and studio fees at the American Academy. Residencies are 4-6 weeks and will be assigned by the Academy in the summer prior to the fall residency. For more information, review the American Academy website at http://www.aarome.org/support/alumni-affiliate-groups. A School of the Arts selection committee composed of Associate Deans reviews applications and provides recommendations to the Dean. Please contact Salem Tsegaye, Assistant Director of the Arts Research Institute, if you intend to apply for this program.

Budget: Up to 6 weeks in residence + studio not including travel ($10,000 value)

The next round of applications will open in January 2019.
